If youre using the Snipping Tool instead of Prt Sc, you will find the screenshot in the Pictures Screenshots folder. Youll also be able to find it on the clipboard.
In Windows 10, call up Settings via the Start menu and open Ease of Access. Now scroll down in the column on the left and click on Keyboard. In the following window, scroll down again and set the switch for Use the PrtScn button to open screen snipping to On.
Where Windows Screenshots are Saved. If you used Snipping Tool or pressed Windows Key + PrtScr, open File Explorer, open the Pictures folder, then open the Screenshots folder. If you just pressed the PrtScr key alone, the screenshot isnt savedpaste it by pressing Ctrl + V.
There are four ways to open Snipping Tool: Select the Start button, enter snipping tool, then select Snipping Tool from the results. Press Windows logo key + Shift + S for a static image snip. Press Print Screen (PrtSc) for a static image snip. Press Windows logo key + Shift + R for a video snip.
Go to c:\users\[username]\Videos\Captures. Youll see your videos saved as MP4 files, which you can open in a video editor or other application to play or modify them.
The Snipping tool exe occurs in the Windows folder in the CProgram FilesWindowsApps location. This Folder is highly protected and ensures that all store apps are free from any malware. If you want to open the exact path of the Snipping tool, then, Tap on the Task Manager.
