The text formatter is used to retrieve formatted text lines from the text store, which is an implementation of TextSource. This is done by first creating an instance of the text formatter by using the Create method. This method creates an instance of the text formatter and sets the maximum line height and width values.
How to wrap text in a WPF TextBox HorizontalScrollBarVisibility=Visible VerticalScrollBarVisibility=Auto TextWrapping=Wrap TextAlignment=Right AcceptsReturn=True
Even if a TextBox has its TextWrapping property set to NoWrap, text added to the TextBox will automatically wrap if that text includes embedded carriage returns. In the example below, we define a multi-line string (using verbatim string notation) and then bind the Text property of a TextBox to the string.
Adding Line Breaks You can do this with a LineBreak inline, added as an XAML element within the text. A new line will be started at the position of this element. If you have configured the text to be justified, the final line before the line break will not be expanded to fill the available width.
Creating a Line The Line element in XAML creates a line shape. The following code snippet creates a Line by setting its start point (X1, Y1) to (50, 50) and end point (X2, Y2) to (200, 200). That means a line is drawn from point (50, 50) to (200, 200). The code also sets the color of the line to red and width 4.
To draw a line, create a Line element. Use its X1 and Y1 properties to set its start point; and use its X2 and Y2 properties to set its end point. Finally, set its Stroke and StrokeThickness because a line without a stroke is invisible. Setting the Fill element for a line has no effect, because a line has no interior.
Select Format and then under Arrange, select Wrap Text. Choose the wrapping option that you want to apply.
You just call the WordWrap() extension method and pass it the column width youd like. This will word wrap the text clamping to 10 characters in width.
