Reset the Snipping Tool app on your computer Right-click on Snipping Tool and choose More from the dropdown menu. Click on App settings, and a new window will pop up. Scroll down through the list of apps and click on Snipping Tool. In the new window, click on Reset.
If the Snipping Tool occasionally fails, restart the app and try again. Try to fix Snipping Tool with sfc /scannow command. If the Snipping Tool frequently fails, reinstall the app or use a different screenshot tool.
7. Reset the Snipping Tool app on your computer Go to the Start menu and click on All apps. Right-click on Snipping Tool and choose More from the dropdown menu.
