In the Header Footer Tools section, click on Edit Header or Edit Footer. Select all of the text and images in the header or footer. Press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac) to copy.
Select Page Layout. Select the Page Setup launcher to open the Page Setup dialog box. In the dialog box, select the Header/Footer tab. Select your preset header from either the Header or Footer drop-down list. Select OK to close the dialog box.
Click the [Page Layout] tab In the Page Setup group, click [Print Titles]. Under the [Sheet] tab, in the Rows to repeat at top field, click the spreadsheet icon. Click and select the row you wish to appear at the top of every page. Press the [Enter] key, then click [OK].
To add a footer, scroll to the bottom of the page, select the section of the footer you want to add something to. On the Design tab, click an element, such as Page Number, click anywhere else on the worksheet, and page numbers now display in the footer. There are other elements on the Design tab, check them out.
Adding Header or Footer to All Worksheets in Excel Click the Page Layout tab at the top of the worksheet. Click the small page set-up button at the bottom-right corner of the page set-up. Click the Header/Footer tab. Click the Custom Header button, as shown below. Add your header information where ever you needed.
This is easy to do using standard editing techniques: Select the first document. Choose the Header and Footer option from the View menu. Use the controls in the dialog box to display the header or footer you want to copy. Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C.
To open the Header Footer ribbon, press Alt+N, H, E. To move to the ribbon, press Alt+J, H.
Remove Headers and/or Footers To remove the header and footer, first exit the header and footer area. To do that, click anywhere in the worksheet. Then in the Ribbon, go to Page Layout and activate Page Setup Dialog Box by clicking on the arrow in the bottom right part of the Page Setup group.
