hey guys welcome back to another video all right so today Im taking a look at the works zip snip is it functional or is it just a gimmick lets check it out alright so as you can see I already took the zip snip out of the packaging and Im glad I did because I took that time to actually charge this thing it had no juice in it so Im actually gonna continue charging this thing as I show you the packaging so Im not gonna spend too much time in the packaging right here you can see that it has a four volt lithium rechargeable battery right here on a side it shows you all the things you can cut with this thing and then check this out right here in the corner it says you can open packages cardboard cut carpet gardening thats weird looks like some chicken wire you can cut some leather right here you see a picture of somebody cutting open some dog treats right here some carpet right here some wrapping paper and theyre right here you see that it has a three year warranty so yes I know this

Use cutting pliers (nippers) to cut and pull metal zipper teeth from the zipper tape. Use nippers to cut away the plastic zipper teeth heads. After removing the plastic zipper teeth heads, use the nippers to snip the rest of the plastic teeth from the zipper tape.
Unlike normal nylon zipper, you cant cut and sew through the metal zipper to shorten the length. This is the tutorial on how to shorten metal zipper. A metal zipper has to be shortened by removing the excessive metal teeth so that you can cut the extra length before sewing to your project.
Measure from the bottom of the zipper and mark your desired finished length. Cut the zipper tape at least a half inch above your mark. Seal the end of the zipper tape. Use wire cutters and pliers to cut off and remove the zipper teeth above your mark.

Using a small pliers, you can remove any extra teeth that are on the tape above point A, but its not essential. Just make sure you create a stopper to prevent the zip coming off.
