There are two ways to add text boxes to a slide: Choose a predefined layout from the Layouts section of the Tasks pane. These text boxes are called AutoLayout text boxes. Create a text box using the text tool.
Click View, Toolbars and then Form Controls to access the Form Controls toolbar. Click the Check Box icon on this toolbar and then select a location to add a check box to the document.
In Normal View: Click on the Text icon. on the Drawing toolbar. Click and drag to draw a box for the text on the slide. Release the mouse button when finished. Type or paste your text in the text box. Click outside the text box to deselect it.
Adding text If the slide layout already includes textboxes, simply click on the textbox to add text. To add a text box to the slide, choose textbox option from the main toolbar and draw the text box with the mouse.
Open Writer. Select View Toolbars Form Controls. Select Check Box from the new Toolbar.
