If You Dont See the Captions Sticker Icon on Your Instagram App. Instagram doesnt offer the captioning feature in select countries and regions, so if youre not seeing the captions sticker in your app, this should be the first thing you check.
Manage captions from your settings: Tap. or your profile picture in the bottom right to go to your profile. Tap. in the top right. Below Your app and media, tap Accessibility. Tap Captions, then tap or next to Captions to turn them on or off.
If you cant find the option to add captions here, your account may be experiencing a glitch. Its also possible Instagram captions arent available in your location, or Instagram doesnt support your language yet. Take a break, and try again later, or try an external captioning tool.
In Final Cut Pro, captions are assigned special caption roles. To create a new set of captions, you first choose a caption format (CEA-608, iTT, or SRT), then you create a caption role specific to that format and a subrole for each language version. Captions are always connected clips.
Step 1: Begin by starting to post your Instagram video or Reel like you normally would. Step 2: On the editing screen, tap the Sticker button (the square smiley-face icon at the top right). Step 3: Find the Captions option, then tap it. Step 4: This sticker will automatically generate captions for you!
Adding captions to Instagram Reels is only available on Android or iOS, not desktop. If youre trying to edit content on a desktop browser, that might be the reason you cant access this feature. If youre using the mobile app but still cant see captions, you might be in the wrong country.
In the Instagram app, tap the plus button. Record your Story by holding the record button or swipe up to add one from your camera roll. Tap the sticker icon, which looks like a square face in the corner. Choose the Captions sticker. Choose from four font styles for your captions.
