hey guys in this tutorial i just want to show you how you can add a colored background to text just to help it kind of stand out a little bit more so i didnt realize this but in final cut theres theres not an option to just add a background color but what you can do is you can go to generators and then go to solid color and just put this where the text is on your video so ill just do that and then i just want to put this below the text layer and now all i need to do is just crop this out the uh the blue that i dont want to show so i just do that by zooming out and using uh pressing the option key as i drag there it goes on both sides and ill do it here and then yeah and then thats it and then if i want to just change the colors i can just click here on the color picker and then it will change the colors alright alright cool hope this helps have a great day
