A subnet IP address (SNIP) is a NetScaler owned IP address that is used by the NetScaler to communicate with the servers. The NetScaler uses the subnet IP address as a source IP address to proxy client connections to servers.
SubNet IP (SNIP) A SNIP is the source IP address of a packet that is used by the NetScaler every time it wants to communicate with a server (or object). Servers also use the SubNet IP to respond to the NetScaler.
On the primary NetScaler appliance, make the required changes to the Subnet IP. Run the following command to add an MIP: add ns ip -type SNIP. Run the following command to remove the existing Subnet IP: rm ns ip
NetScaler IP (NSIP) is the address where you access the machine for management purposes. Subnet IP (SNIP) is used for server side connections and will be used to route traffic that is destined for the VIP.
The MIP reflects the strength of the diaphragm and other inspiratory muscles, while the MEP reflects the strength of the abdominal muscles and other expiratory muscles. A well validated alternative or additional test of inspiratory muscle strength is maximal sniff nasal inspiratory pressure (SNIP).
The NSIP is also called the Management IP address. If you modify this address, you must reboot the NetScaler. A subnet IP (SNIP) address is used in connection management and server monitoring. It is not mandatory to specify a SNIP when you initially configure the NetScaler appliance.
