The first way that you can do this is to go to the Insert tab and choose Object. Lets choose Create from file, and then browse to where our Word document is stored. For our first example, lets tick this Display as icon and then press OK. Now, you can see there is a word document icon here in the presentation. This file is actually inside the PowerPoint file now. And you can double click it to open it up inside of Word. Even if you send this presentation to someone else, the Word document is inside and they can access it. Another way that you can work with a Word document is to insert some of the content from inside it into the presentation. Import a Word outline into PowerPoint Open PowerPoint, and select Home New Slide. Select Slides from Outline. In the Insert Outline dialog box, find and select your Word outline and select Insert.
In PowerPoint just right-click the slide you want assistance with and choose Link to this Slide. When the sharing card appears, you can change the share settingsif you only want your colleague to view the slide, and not edit it, for exampleor just click Copy to copy the hyperlink to your clipboard.

Add a new slide In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide that you want your new slide to follow. On the Home tab, click New Slide. In the New Slide dialog box, select the layout that you want for your new slide. Learn more about slide layouts. Select Add Slide.
On the Home tab, in the Insert group, click Text Box. On the slide, click the location where you want to add the text box. Type or paste your text in the text box.
Open an existing presentation or create a new presentation that you want to insert slides into. On the Home tab, under Slides, click the arrow next to New Slide, and then click Insert Slides from Other Presentation. Select the presentation that you want to insert, click Insert all slides, and then click Insert.
You can link or embed one or more slides, or you can embed an entire presentation. When you embed a PowerPoint presentation object in your document, Word runs the PowerPoint slide show when you double-click the presentation object in the document. You cannot edit the presentation within the document.
Insert a hyperlink On the slide, enter the text you want to turn into a hyperlink. Select the text. On the Insert tab of the ribbon, select Link. Select Insert Link. Or: You can make a link to a recently open file by selecting it from the Recent Items list that appears. Select Insert.
Find and select the Word document in the Insert Outline dialog box, and click Insert. A new slide will be created for each Heading 1 in you document.
