hello youtube today Im going to be making another slide roll video and this time were going to look at trig scales and log-log scales and how to use them so for this video Im going to be mainly using the picot and 40 and this is a vector type log-log dual base speed rule as you can see right here this is a pretty advanced slide rule its got thirty four scales on it and as such well be able to do pretty much everything that youd need to do on a slide rule the only thing it doesnt have as you can see here on the bottom here is a sliding a and B scale just simply does not have that sort of function so but as you can see its got quite a number of scales here and this is the front side and this is the back of the rule pretty involved but were going to cover all these scales and Im going to show you how they work so the first trigonometric function were going to be covering is the sine function and the way a slide rule is and the way that the sine function is based on the angle t
