slides can automatically name themselves or title themselves like in this project these slides are already titled so it wouldnt work for that but if we add a new slide in this scene and we go we just go and we add a basic layout slide just title and content now whatever I type in here will then be the title of that slide biology and that was done for us we didnt have to do that work

Change the starting slide number On the Design tab, in the Customize group, click Slide Size, and then click Custom Slide Size. In the Slide Size dialog box, in the Number slides from box, enter the number that you want to show on the first slide in your presentation, and then click OK.
The title slide is the first slide of a presentation. It usually contains a title and a subtitle. Of all the slides in a presentation, the first slide is one of the most important, as the title slide generally sets the tone.
On the Insert tab, select Slide Number. On the Slide tab, check the Slide number box. If you dont want a number to appear on the title slide, also check the Dont show on title slide box. Select Apply to All.
Check the box next to Dont show on title page. Best practices say that your title slide should not have a slide number on it. Check the box highlighted below to hide the slide number on the title slide.
As a rule, title slides dont display a number, so lets turn numbering off for the title slide as follows: Click the Insert tab and then click Header Footer in the Text group.
Use the Layout option to title a slide Select the slide whose layout you will change so that it can have a title. Click Home Layout. Select Title Slide for a standalone title page or select Title and Content for a slide that contains a title and a full slide text box. Select the Click to add title text box.
Slide titles are most effective written as an action title, which spells out the so what of the slide rather than a written description of the content.
