What should be included in the PowerPoint slides? Text allows you to reinforce your main points and keep key terms and concepts in the readers minds. Images illustrate or highlight your main point. Graphs or Tables present complicated information or numerical figures in a clear and easily digestible manner.
To do so, open the Slide menu, then select Edit master. The presentation will switch to the master template editor and youll see all the layouts available in the left pane. Now, make the desired changes to the master slide. For example, you can change the text font, color or move elements.

On the template detail page, scroll until you see the template preview. Click on the button under the presentation preview that says Use as Google Slides Theme. A new window will open with a larger preview. If you like what you see, click on the Use template button in the top right corner.
To apply a new theme, click Slide at the top, then select Change theme. Click on a theme to see how your presentation will look. To use a different theme from the ones offered by default, click Import theme at the bottom.
A usable color theme should ideally contain your brand colors, or at least colors that you would want to use on your slides in charts, tables or highlight boxes. You can easily see the theme colors by selecting a shape and clicking the SHAPE FILL pulldown.
Try it! Select Design. Hover over the Themes to preview how it looks, and select the one you like. Select More. to see more Themes. By default, the theme you select applies to all slides in your presentation. In the Variants group, select More. to change Colors, Fonts, Effects, and Background Styles.
The dark blue or dark purple background gives good emotional feelings as the predominant color on the screen and the yellow and white text and graphics have good contrast with the background. The accent colors should be used to highlight a word or portion of a graphic, not overused or they will become annoying.
