[Music] hello and welcome today were going to be looking at how to add placeholders in your very own google slides themes to go into the themes you click on the slide option in the menu and go down to edit theme so you already see a preset theme here that you could adjust but we can also add our own in so if i want to go at the bottom i can click the plus icon to add a new layout im going to remove this one and then im going to start my own if i click on the insert menu go right to the bottom i can then add my own title placeholder subtitle or body text so like so and then obviously i can change the font as to something i might want the new addition if you look on the insert placeholder menu is youve got an image placeholder and you can have a rectangle a rounded rectangle or an oval so if i click the over one im going to put this in here so if i leave the theme editor and then im going to go and apply this new layout ive got here i click on the image icon i get the usual kind
