Answer: The correct answer to this question is the Slide Sorter view.
When a presentation is made of more than one slide, which is usually the case, the slides follow an incremental number, also referred to as their sequence. Based on this, there is the entry or first slide, followed by the 2nd, 3rd, etc slides.
Add a section Right-click between slides and select Add Section. An Untitled Section is added in the thumbnail pane. Right-click the Untitled Section and then select Rename Section. Type a name in the Section name box. Select Rename. To collapse a section, click the triangle next to the section name.
Slide show setup options Select the Slide Show tab, then click the Set Up Slide Show command. The Set Up Show dialog box will appear. From here, you can select the desired options for your presentation.
In the pane on the left, click the thumbnail of the slide that you want to move, and then drag it to the new location. Tip: To select multiple slides, press and hold Ctrl while you click each slide that you want to move, and then drag them as a group to the new location.
Set Up Slide Shows Show Type: Select the type of presentation you are giving. Show Options: Adjust looping, narration, animation, graphics, pen, and laser options. Show Slides: Select which slides to show in the presentation. Advance Slides: Choose to advance slides manually or automatically.
Changing slide order If the slides you want to move around are next to each other, you can drag and drop them in the Normal View. Click on the small image of the slide in the left column, and drag it where you want it to be. When you see the horizontal line, let go, and the slides will change places.
Slide layouts contain formatting, positioning, and placeholder boxes for all of the content that appears on a slide. Placeholders are the dotted-line containers on slide layouts that hold such content as titles, body text, tables, charts, SmartArt graphics, pictures, clip art, videos, and sounds.
