whats up guys my name is Amanda with Iowa designs and today Im gonna show you my interpretation of the Builder challenge desk by DIY huntress for this build I started off by cutting my poplar down to two by twos and one by twos after that I took it over to my miter saw and cut it down to the sizes that I needed I use my Kreg jig position track to do this because it made it ten times easier and faster here im numbering my wood for the planer and i got this fantastic idea from 3x3 custom i planed my wood to get the rough and raw edges off and make it smooth like buttah and once all my wood was planed i took it all over to the Kreg jig and jig my holes this is one of my favorite ways of joining wood because it makes a really strong joint and its great for di wires and then next is a thing all woodworkers love sanding and sanding and sanding and sanding and sanding and sanding next up i assembled my frame for this desk I always use Craigs right angle clamp to hold the wood in place a
