On your Mac, enter Mission Control, then move the pointer to the top edge of the screen. In the Spaces bar, move the pointer over the space you want to delete, then click the Delete button that appears. If the space contains open windows, they are moved to another space.
Add spaces and switch between them Swipe left or right with three or four fingers on your trackpad, or swipe left or right with two fingers on your Magic Mouse. Press Control–Right Arrow or Control–Left Arrow on your keyboard.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Zoom on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
To immediately prevent further dragging, tap the trackpad once. With Drag Lock: Double-tap an item, then drag it without lifting your finger after the second tap; dragging continues when you lift your finger, and stops when you tap the trackpad once.
Press these three keys together: Option (or Alt), Command, Esc (Escape). Or choose Force Quit from the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen.
From here, select Notifications then Preferences. Inside the Push Notifications menu, scroll down until you see the Spaces option. Toggle it off and that's it. No more push notifications from Spaces you're not interested in joining.
You can also disable keyboard shortcuts by going to the Apple icon > System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Mission Control and un-checking everything under Mission Control....How to Disable Spaces Click the Apple icon. Select System Preferences. Click Mission Control.
