hey this is Peter from next and web in this video Im going to show you how to align your layers and create space around them first Ill show you the horizontal alignment options horizontal aligned words in small slider is that the alignment is inherited from the parent layer I will show you an example by changing the inner line on the content layer as you can see all layers move from Center to left inside a Content layer a line on a parent only affects those child layers where the inner line or text the line is set to inherit which is the default value for all layers you can find the inner line setting on the rows and columns as well as the inner line is inherited by the row changing it on the content layer effects the layers inside a row I will change the inner line on the road to Center and as you can see the layers inside are not left aligned anymore I can select any column and overwrite the inner line it inherits from the row I said the inner line to right so now the row setting

Select the text you want to format. On the Home tab, locate the Paragraph group, click the Line Spacing command, then select the desired line spacing option from the menu. The line spacing will be adjusted.
In the Paragraph dialog box, select one of the options from the dropdown menu under Line spacing. You can select single-, 1.5-, or double-spacing, or you can select Multiple and set your own custom line spacing.

You can make a Microsoft Word single space document by opening the document, selecting all of the text, choosing the Home tab, clicking the Line and Paragraph Spacing button, then choosing the 1.0 option from the drop down menu.
The lines in all Word documents are single-spaced by default, which is appropriate for letters and most documents. But you can easily change your document line spacing to double or 1.5 lines to allow extra space between every line. This is useful when you want to make notes on a printed document.
The default spacing is 1.15 lines, which gives you a bit more room between lines and 10 points of spacing after each paragraph for better readability.
Change the Normal template (Normal. dotm ) On the File tab, click Open. Go to C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates. Open the Normal template (Normal. Make any changes that you want to the fonts, margins, spacing, and other settings. When you have finished, click the File tab, and then click Save.
To update your template, open the file, make the changes you want, and then save the template. Click File Open. Double-click This PC. Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder thats under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
