In this video tutorial, the focus is on creating a media gallery template in a portrait layout, which means the slide will be taller. To change the slide orientation, go to the Design tab, select Slide Size, and choose Custom Slide Size. In PowerPoint 2013, the default is widescreen, but the goal is to fit the portrait mode for an iPad, so the 4x3 ratio is used. Change the setting from widescreen to Onscreen Show (4x3), and select the portrait layout. The measurements for the portrait layout, 10 inches by 7.5 inches, will be noted, despite typically being seen as 10 for width and 7.5 for height. After clicking okay, several options will appear, but they are not critical to the process.
