See the example above: In this example, going from left to right you see the 4:3 (usually 1024 pixels wide x 768 high) ratio screen size and on the right the 16:9 (usually 1920 pixels wide x 1080 pixels high) ration screen size.
The 16:9 widescreen setting is the default value for new presentations you create.
Default PowerPoint is NOT HD. So we know that the default dimension of a presentation is 1280 x 720, and that your HD television is capable of displaying 1920 x 1080.
Right-click the picture to be adjusted, then click Format Object. In the task pane that pops up on the right side of the screen, click SIZE & PROPERTIES,where we can adjust the SIZE and POSITION of the picture, respectively.
Choose the Standard or Widescreen slide size Click Standard (4:3) or Widescreen (16:9).
So how can we set the slide size? First, click the Design tab above, and then click the Slide Size button. Here, we can quickly adjust the slide size, such as the commonly used Standard Screen 4:3 or Wide Screen size 16:9. Here, we can select multiple preset sizes of the slides.
Open the presentation file that you would like to compress in WPS Presentation. Step 2. Click the Presentation application menu and choose Package into Compressed File(Z) option under File Package(R) drop-down list. Package into Folder: Copy the presentation file and related media items, such as audio, video, etc.
The right slide format for your PowerPoint presentation: 16:9 is the common aspect ratio of most modern notebooks and is also standard for PowerPoint. 16:10 is best for presentations on MacBooks and office monitors.
The default ratio for a Powerpoint presentation is 4:3. However, the default ratio of widescreen video is 16:9. (You can see how the outline is shaped more like a square in the 4:3 example versus the more rectangle in the 16:9 ratio example.
