Select Save As from the File Menu. For Format, select JPEG. For Options, ensure Width is 1920 and Height is 1080.
To confirm the template's dimensions in Windows: Click on the DESIGN tab. Click on Slide Size on the upper right side of the window. Click on Custom Slide Size to see the poster dimensions.
“4:3” and “16:9” refers to the aspect ratio of the slide. But the actual size of a slide with the same aspect ratio can differ. A 4:3 slide is 33% wider than it is high. A 16:9 slide is 78% wider than it is high.
The default ratio for a Powerpoint presentation is 4:3. However, the default ratio of widescreen video is 16:9. (You can see how the outline is shaped more like a square in the 4:3 example versus the more rectangle in the 16:9 ratio example.
Proper noun The recommendation that each slide in a presentation should contain a maximum of eight lines of text with a maximum of eight words in each line.
Change the size of your slides On your computer, open a presentation in Google Slides. Click File. Page setup. To pick a size, click the Down arrow . Standard (4:3) Widescreen (16:9) Widescreen (16:10) Custom: Below "Custom," enter a size and pick a unit of measurement (inches, centimeters, points, or pixels). Click OK.
The right slide format for your PowerPoint presentation: 4:3 is ideal for presentations on iPads and also for old monitors or projector. 16:9 is the common aspect ratio of most modern notebooks and is also standard for PowerPoint. 16:10 is best for presentations on MacBooks and office monitors.
See the example above: In this example, going from left to right you see the 4:3 (usually 1024 pixels wide x 768 high) ratio screen size and on the right the 16:9 (usually 1920 pixels wide x 1080 pixels high) ration screen size.
