Shift+F5 To begin the slideshow from the current slide, press Shift+F5.
PowerPoint Presenter View shows you the current slide, the next slide, and your speaker notes, to help you focus while presenting and connect with your audience. Select the Slide Show tab. Select the Use Presenter View checkbox.
Expert-Verified Answer The stars are just an indication that the particular slide has custom animation. That was you can quickly see at a glance if a slide has content that is animated. The same star symbol is also shown when the slide itself has any slide transition set.
Slide pane contains the current slide in your presentation. You can use the vertical scroll bar to view other slides in the presentation. Notes pane is located below the slide pane and is used to type reference notes. The notes can be printed, then referenced when making the presentation.
What is the use of Star icon present next to the slide in Slides Pane? Ans. Star icon indicates that a slide has a transition or animation effect applied to it. Click the Star to preview the animation or transition effect.
The littel star in the lower left corner indicates that a transition has been applied to that slide. Click on that star and you will see the animation previewed. To remove a transition, you must be in the individual slide, not the Slide Sorter view.
The effect will apply to the object. The object will have a small number next to it to show that it has an animation. In the Slide pane, a star symbol also will appear next to the slide.
