okay so what is the best safety stock formula i got really confused the first time i was looking for for this so many mathematics and different methods but yes we do need safety to face all this uncertainty in this world regarding the demand the lead time of the suppliers the delays the pandemic the inflation and in this video im gonna try to keep it very simple with example in excel im going to explain to you why its important to have safety but not too much what are the best methods and the one you can use today to start optimizing your inventory level but also the service for your customer [Music] okay so why do we need safety stock we do need safety stock to prevent shortages and out of stock right you dont want to see this situation with your customers and thats why we use the safety stock to mitigate against a certainty we have two kind of uncertainty we have the demand and we have the lead time if you knew exactly what would be your demand your if your focus accuracy was 10

A sideways market, sideways drift or sideways trend, is the term used to describe the phenomenon that takes place when the price of a stock, commodity or security fluctuates between a fixed support and resistance for an extended period of time.
Drift simply means steady, gradual movement of some measure, usually towards an equilibrium. The alternative would be a jump, such as where a stock price moves suddenly to an equilibrium price in reaction to something (news, other economic factors, etc.).
Drift is calculated as the absolute value of the securitys difference from the initial weight given to the position and the actual weighting divided by 2.
The term sideways market refers to a phenomenon when there are no clear trends found in the market. Instead, prices are rising and falling, sometimes sharply, but not in any consistent direction. Sideways markets are typically volatile and indecisive.
Drift refers to the long-term grown rate in the price of an asset, and randomness refers to the random element of the future price of the asset. The evolution of the future price of an asset consists of a drift component and a random component, and we discuss both here.
In summary, a bearish market is characterized by declining stock prices and negative investor sentiment, while a sideways market is characterized by a lack of docHub movement in stock prices and uncertainty about the markets future direction.
Drift occurs as individual securities in your portfolio appreciate or depreciate in value and veer off of their original allocations over time. For instance an asset that started with a 5% holding can eventually make up much more than 5% of a portfolio if its returns have considerably outperformed other assets.
An exit strategy is a plan to leave an investment, ideally by selling it for more than the price at which it was purchased. Individual investors, venture capitalists, stock traders, and business owners all use exit strategies that set specific criteria to dictate when theyll get out of an investment.
