hey guys welcome back this week course evaluations come out and those are an opportunity for students to evaluate you while youre teaching now Ive posted before about how course evaluations can be incredibly valuable and also can be incredibly biased in the past so Ill link those videos below but I wanted to add to that discussion today with this article that I found from Phil Simon Phil Simon is a professor at ASU and he wrote this great blog post that examined all of the data they had from his version of his course evals and he has this incredibly rich software system which allows him to have all these beautiful graphs and stuff and its a really interesting read because its interesting to see somebody evaluate their teaching post-hoc right and being able to make comparisons over time I think that thats a great thing that once youve been able to teach a class at least two or three times you of course can start to see trends and whats happening to your evaluations over time now
