In this week's Todd's Two Minute Tip Tuesday from the National RV Training Academy, the focus is on de-winterizing your RV. Key points include checking the slide-out seals and suspension after exposure to cold, rain, and snow. To protect the slide-outs, it’s recommended to use a UV protectant when the slides are fully extended. An A-frame ladder is suggested for better access. Two types of protectants are mentioned: dry silicone and PTFE (a generic for Teflon). The emphasis is on ensuring the protectant remains dry for effective application.

Full timers keep slides extended for most of the trailers life (minus tow time). The slides are stable when extended. I agree with @Hoopy Frood. Unless you are tending the camper regularly, I believe its best to keep them in when not in use.
Never leave your slide partially open or partially closed. Leaving your slide in an intermediate position can lead to structural issues, water leaks, and potential damage. Ensure your slides are either fully extended or fully retracted to maintain proper sealing and prevent costly repairs.

You should have no problem using the rig with that slide in. Might be a bit tight for the dinette though. Obviously you can, but it isnt usually recommended as the slide is not supported the same way it is when extended. Ive done it a few times, but I try not to make a habit of it.
Heres a great video from a couple of our favorite lifestyle RVers, Gone With the Wynns, about how to condition your slide out seals: RV TipCare for Your Slide Out and Stay Out of the Shop. When it comes time to park your RV between trips or for the winter, store your slide outs closed.
