I have already begun heating a thermoplastic resin with the refractive index of 1.662. You want to heat the resin to a point where it is like hot maple syrup. Here I have a pre-cleaned glass slide, square cover glass, a microspatula, and a needle. Im going to be using these supplies to prep my sample.
