This video tutorial explains how to start a slideshow on a MacBook or view multiple pictures. You can select multiple pictures using Shift + arrow keys, then press Option + spacebar to start the slideshow with only the selected pictures. To close the slideshow, click the cross. The drawback is that only selected pictures will be displayed. Alternatively, to view all pictures without selection, open the photos in the Photos app, which can be downloaded from the App Store.
