Rich Text Format (RTF) is a file format that lets you exchange text files between different word processors in different operating systems (OSes). For example, you can create a file in Microsoft Word and then open it in another word processor, such as Apple Pages or Google Docs.
Follow these steps: Open the PPT file in PowerPoint and select File > Export from the menu bar. Select Create Handouts. Select a page layout in the Send To Microsoft Word window. Select OK to export the slideshow into a Word file.
The RTF file retains your basic formatting, though, such as font size, color and bold or italic type, but not hyperlinks. Open the PowerPoint presentation to convert. Click the "File" tab, and select "Save As." Click the "Save as type" drop-down menu. Click the "Outline/RTF" option.
How to convert JPG to RTF Upload jpg-file(s) Select files from Computer, Google Drive, Dropbox, URL or by dragging it on the page. Choose "to rtf" Choose rtf or any other format you need as a result (more than 200 formats supported) Download your rtf.
To save a file as RTF Open the Word document. From the File button, choose Save As from the menu. Rename the file if desired. Click on the Save As type choice button. Scroll down the list of file types to Rich Text Format (*.rtf) Click Save.
RTF supports inclusion of JPEG, PNG, Enhanced Metafile (EMF), Windows Metafile (WMF), Apple PICT, Windows device-dependent bitmap, Windows device-independent bitmap and OS/2 Metafile picture types in hexadecimal (the default) or binary format in a RTF file.
Microsoft RTF (Rich Text Format) is a metafile standard developed by Microsoft Corporation to encode formatted text and graphics for interchange between applications.
A plain text file, such as a file with a . txt extension, can only have plain, unformatted text and no images inserted into it. If you are working with a plain text file, it needs to be converted into a file format that supports RTF (rich text format) before images can be added.
The Rich Text Format (RTF) specification is a method of encoding formatted text and graphics for easy transfer between applications. Currently, users depend on special translation software to move word-processing documents between different MS-DOS®, Windows, OS/2, Macintosh, and Power Macintosh applications.
RTF stands for Rich Text Format and is a universal document file format and is easily read by many of the word-processing packages. It is particularly useful to those using a different word-processing package from those used on campus.
