We would recommend to stay with around 20-25 slides as much for a 60 minute presentation. The ideal number of slides for a 45-minute or one hour-long presentation is a common question by presenters preparing a presentation for the first time.
In Normal view, select the video frame on the slide. Select the Playback tab, and then select Trim Video. To determine where you want to trim your video footage, in the Trim Video dialog box, press the Play button. When you docHub the point where you want to make the cut, press the Pause button.
To make the slide advance to the next slide when you click the mouse, select the On Mouse Click check box. To make the slide advance automatically, select the After check box, and then enter the number of minutes or seconds that you want.
Set the speed of a transition Select the slide that has the transition that you want to change. On the TRANSITIONS tab, in the Timing group, in the Duration box, type the number of seconds that you want it to run. If you want all the slide shows transition effects to use the same speed, click Apply To All.
Click the Transitions tab and set the duration to 10-seconds. Click Apply to All to move through every slide on a 10-second advance. This works on both Mac and PC PowerPoint presentations and allows you to set the 10-second window for all slides in a matter of seconds.
To advance slides automatically: Locate the Timing group on the Transitions tab. Under Advance Slide, uncheck the box next to On Mouse Click. In the After field, enter the amount of time you want to display the slide.
Add a new slide In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide that you want your new slide to follow. On the Home tab, click New Slide. In the New Slide dialog box, select the layout that you want for your new slide. Learn more about slide layouts. Select Add Slide.
The title slide is the slide that is used to introduce the presentation to the audience. It has two text placeholders for text: title text placeholder and sub-title text placeholder. Placeholders are the building blocks for a PowerPoint slide.

Change a transition Select the slide that has the transition you want to modify. On the Transitions tab, select Effect Options, then choose an option from the menu that appears. In the Timing group on the Transitions tab, you can change the duration of the effect.
