hi im tom malini thats me im here today to tell you about google docs and slides link preview panels in google docs and slides all right so right here im in a guided notes document like you might give a student and im in view mode and res within the last year or so google they made their hyperlinks they made them a little bit more dynamic and here you see you it actually says the title of the website and it gives you like the actual address and you can copy the link and you know it gives you a starting of the text right but when you do this in a google doc and you do it to either docs or slides watch what happens so this is a linked google doc right here this state department guide right here right and so one i get this little thumbnail it tells me youre the owner and no changes okay and i can copy the url but check out this open preview and all this was by the way was something i took from a website and i copy pasted so now what ive done is i have made it so that a student cou

If you had no folder set for default save location for personal templates, and have no Workgroup templates location set, nothing will show up when you use File New. Setting a folder for either of these and saving templates in that folder will make it show up.
Windows: Click the File menu and select New if you have a document open. On the New window, click the CUSTOM tab (Office 2019 and later) or the Personal tab (Office 2016 and earlier) to display your custom templates, and then click the template to open it.
Click the Templates tab. Under Global templates and add-ins, select the check box next to the template or add-in that you want to load. If the template or add-in you want does not appear in the box, click Add, switch to the folder that contains the template or add-in you want, click it, and then click OK.
Open the Word document you would like to apply the template to, then click File Options to open the Word Options dialog box. 2. In the Word Options dialog box, (1) click Add-ins in the left bar, (2) select Templates from the Manage drop down list, and (3) click Go.
