hey cwgt here chris white google training today im going to show you how you can automatically number your slides and you dont have to number them one to the end you can pick slides in between as well this will help presenters keep track of where they are in their presentation and i just happened to have a google xero inbox presentation coming up so it was very timely release lets get started so all we need to do is go to insert slide numbers i want them on um lets see how that happens so i have a 1 here in the corner but notice 2 3 etc so lets go by and back and try some other options so this time ive selected these three slides insert slide numbers i apply to all and you can see they all get selected or if i go back i can insert slide numbers apply to the selected and then i have 2 3 4. or i can go back and i can insert slide numbers skip title slides and apply to selected so now the title slide isnt selected but 2 3 4 are let me know if you have questions its a new tool im

Go to a specific slide Type the slide number, then press Return. Mouse: Right-click a slide, point to By Title on the shortcut menu, and then select a slide by title or slide number.

Right click and select Master Layout. This will bring up a number of options, one of which drum roll please will be the option to add a slide number. Make sure this box is checked and it should bring up your slide numbers in all their collective glory!
Go to Slide Master view in PowerPoint. Then, locate the shape containing the # character, this is the text shape used to insert the slide number. Move this shape to any desired position or change the shape properties (such as text color, font family, etc.).
