Add a new slide In the slide thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide that you want your new slide to follow. On the Home tab, click New Slide. In the New Slide dialog box, select the layout that you want for your new slide. Learn more about slide layouts. Select Add Slide.
Outline View helps you manage a documents structure and headings without getting lost in the text. In Outline View (click View Outline), you use Outline Tools to move and edit headings, change heading levels, and move text around. You can also control how much detail you see.
On the Format tab, select Shape Outline, and choose the color you want for the border. Select Shape Outline again. Use the Weight and Dashes options near the bottom of the menu to select the line thickness and style you want for your border. Drag the handles on the shape to size and position the border on the slide.
