Select the text that you want to change. On the Home tab, choose Font Color, and then select the color that you want to change the color of the text to.
Choose a word or piece of text that you want to highlight. In the Drawing Tools, choose the Format tab. Click Text Effects > Glow. Select the glow variation that fits the style of your presentation.
Choose the Highlighter tool from the menu. Alternatively, you can also right-click or press Shift + F10 to display a menu, choose Pointer Options and then Highlighter. The cursor changes to a yellow line (the default color of the Highlighter tool is yellow). Drag to draw or write on the slide.
Go to Insert > Word art and write your text, hit enter. Customize your text font and then go to Fill Color and select a soft one, Go to border color and select its bright variant, select border weight and click on 3px (or more depending on the font you choose or the size of your Word Art).
Despite the short list of standard fonts available in the Google Slides Font drop down, there are actually hundreds more fonts to choose from. Simply go to the Font drop down and click More fonts at the top. This will open up a new panel with a large selection of different fonts: welcome to the Google font library!
