Turn on the pen and draw in Slide Show Click that Pen button, and then choose Pen from the pop-up menu: Click and drag the mouse to draw on the slide. (Optional) To turn off the pen, right-click the slide, point to Pointer Options, and then click Arrow Options and choose the option you prefer.
Unlike the pen and highlighter, the laser pointer will not leave markings on your slides. To use the laser pointer, select it from Pen Tools, or press and hold the Ctrl key and the left mouse button.
Roam freely while presenting. A pen can be a wireless remote control up to 30 feet away from your computer.
To annotate the presentation, press on the annotation tools button, and the menu below will appear: The laser pointer tool (keyboard shortcut Ctrl + L) will turn the mouse pointer into a bigger red dot like a laser pointer. The pen tool (keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P) can be used to markup/draw on the slide.
Speaker notes help you remember what to say when you present. Print them, or use Presenter view to see your notes, while the audience sees only your slides. Slides work best when you dont cram too much information (especially too much text) onto them.
Click on the Insert tab and then Shapes. This will open a menu with many shapes for you to choose from to draw. To draw freehand, select the Freeform: Scribble tool (below).
Find the drawing tools Go to the Review tab and select Start Inking to display the Ink Tools and Pens tab.
To access the pen or highlighter: Hover and click the pen menu option in the bottom-left of your screen. Select Pen or Highlighter based on your preference. Use the pointer to draw on or mark your slides. From the same menu, you can also change the color of the pen or highlighter.
