all right that one looks good that ones fine okay all right i could use a little work maybe that one too oh that needs some help i am in the process of restoring a 15 projector multi-image slideshow that was produced in 1978 and many of the 500 or so slides in this five-minute presentation are in need of some sort of work or another this particular slide is a codalith its a lithographic black and white film made by kodak that renders only pure black and pure white or clear in this slides case it seems that something happened probably in the course of processing it that uh caused over time this is these slides are 45 years old for the emulsion to literally disintegrate in places all around the edges and two giant areas here where its the emulsion is just broken up entirely lets take a closer look so you can see around the edges there are these large areas where the emulsion seems to be bubbling away somehow oh by the way sorry about the changing color i think thats just my light
