Add a section In Normal view, in the thumbnail pane, click the slide that will be the first slide of the section. On the Home tab, click Section. In the Section Name box, enter a name for the section, and then click Rename. To add more sections, select a new starting slide for the new section and repeat steps 2 and 3.
Click Home Layout. Select Title Slide for a standalone title page or select Title and Content for a slide that contains a title and a full slide text box. Many other layout options include titles, too. Pick the one thats best suited for your presentation.
To insert headers and footers, you click INSERT, Header Footer, make sure Slide is selected, and choose your options. These include Date and time, a date and time format, and whether to show the current date or a Fixed one. You decide if you want to show Slide number and include a text Footer.
The font pairing (header font, body font) is an important design decision in PowerPoint. Click View Slide Master. On the Slide Master tab, click the Fonts drop-down menu. Select the font you want to use for all the slides in the presentation. Click Close Master View.
Click INSERT Header Footer. On the Slide tab, check Footer. In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title.
To add a slide title to an existing slide go to the Home tab and click Layout then Title Only. 5. Then place your cursor in the Click to add title box on the slide and type in your unique slide title.
Right-click between slides and select Add Section. Type in a section name. Select Rename. Click the triangle to collapse a section, and the number shows the slides in that section.
Modify an existing style Select text in your document that has the style applied, such as Heading 1. Format the selected text with the new attributes that you want. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, right-click the style that you want to change, and then click Update [Style Name] to Match Selection.
