Go to Insert > Header or Footer. Choose from a list of standard headers or footers, go to the list of Header or Footer options, and select the header or footer that you want. Or, create your own header or footer by selecting Edit Header or Edit Footer. When you're done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
Slide transitions are visual effects which appear in PowerPoint when one slide moves to the next. There are many different transitions, like for example fade and dissolve. PowerPoint offers many transitions that everyone uses, but there are also other interesting animations that make your presentations more appealing.
Add or change a slide transition On the Animations tab, in the Transition To This Slide group, click a slide transition effect. To set the slide transition speed between the slides, in the Transition To This Slide group, click the arrow next to Transition Speed, and then select the speed that you want.
Use the Insert menu: Insert->Slide 2. Right click on the slide in the Slide sidebar and select New Slide from the pop up menu.
Select File > Properties > Description, enter a title for your document in the Title area, and click OK to close the dialog box. Add a header (Insert > Header > Default). Place the cursor in the header part of the page. Select Insert > Fields > Title.
To apply a transition: Click the Transitions tab, then locate the Transition to This Slide group. By default, None is applied to each slide. Click the More drop-down arrow to display all transitions. Click a transition to apply it to the selected slide.
Select Insert > Header or Footer. Select one of the built in designs. Type the text you want in the header or footer. Select Close Header and Footer when you're done.
Click INSERT > Header & Footer. On the Slide tab, check Footer. In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title. Check Date and time to add that to your slides.
