Create a new form or quiz Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your school or work credentials. Open your PowerPoint presentation and choose the slide in which you want to insert a form or quiz. On the Insert tab, select Forms. A Forms panel will open and dock on the right side of your PowerPoint presentation.
Switch to Outline view: In the upper tab, navigate to View and select Outline. This mode strips away images and videos, leaving you with just the text from your slides. Its super handy for focusing on the key points and getting a big picture understanding of the structure.
To add notes to your slides, do the following: On the View menu, click Normal. Select the thumbnail of the slide you want to add notes to. The notes pane will appear beneath your slide. Click where it says Click to add notes and type whatever notes youd like to add. To hide the notes pane, click the Notes button.
Create a presentation in Outline view On the View tab, in the Presentation Views group, click Outline. In the slide thumbnail pane, place the pointer, and then either paste your content or begin typing text. The first text you type will be a title, indicated by boldface type. Press ENTER when youve completed the title.
Use static guides and gridlines Select View Guides to show the horizontal and vertical center lines. Select View Gridlines to show more gridlines. Use the lines to align objects. Clear Gridlines and Guides to turn them off.
Before diving into how to use Smart Guides, ensure they are turned on. Launch PowerPoint. Click on the View tab in the Ribbon. In the Show group, click on the small square indicated in #2 (screenshot below) In the Grid and Guides dialog box, ensure the Display smart guides when shapes are aligned checkbox is ticked.
To enable rulers, gridlines and guides in PowerPoint, go to the View tab on the top ribbon. In the Show group on the View tab, you will see three checkboxes. To make Gridlines visible on your PowerPoint slides, simply check the Gridlines check box - the gridlines should appear immediately on your slides.
