Removing the space between your content and your footer Click the first element on the page (i.e. a Container or Image) Look for the Margins setting in the Settings section of the right sidebar. Disable the "linked axis" option. Set a negative margin on the bottom (i.e. -50px) Changelog.
Just add data-position="fixed" to the div tag if you are using jQuery. Hope this helps.
Click INSERT > Header & Footer. On the Slide tab, check Footer. In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title. Check Date and time to add that to your slides.
It is overlapping to your content because of its position. The only way to give them some space between the content and the footer is to remove that custom css and then add a bottom padding in the last section element. Right now, the bottom padding is 0 which is why it is close or overlapping to the footer.
To do this just remove margin top from footer and set margin top and bottom to auto margin: auto 0; on your main content (in my case article element) or margin: auto; to center it on both direction (vertically and horizontally) and it will make content align to center.
The reason your footer is only halfway down the page with position: absolute is that you haven't set a min-height on the body and html elements. Without that, the body only takes up as much space as you have content for it -- and then the footer is aligned with that bottom, not the bottom of the window.
Add a header or footer Open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap Edit . In the top right, tap More . Turn on "Print Layout." Tap the header or footer. Type the text you want in your header or footer.
Making the footer sticky Set the container to display: flex; . The container is the body in our example. Change the containers' flex-direction: column . This lets the footer flow below the content. Give the container full height with min-height: 100vh; . ... Finally, give the footer enough margin with margin-top: auto; .
i added this in addition to what I had earlier but still couldn't get rid of the grey bar #header-outer { display: none;} #header-space { display: none;} #footer-outer { display: none;} #footer-outer #copyright, body { border: none! important; background-color: #f8f8f8! ... Try this in css.
Quick answer: Add “display:flex; flex-direction:column; min-height:100vh;” to body or appropriate layout body element, then add “flex:1;” to content wrapper element/section.
