Ive opened up the document weve been working with odp07-ASimpleDoc.odp that I downloaded from my website TheFrugalComputerGuy.com and I am in the normal view I also want to mention that I went back to version 5.0.3.2 so I do have my tabs back in my workspace window Im going to click on the handouts tab and we see the slide content disappeared as well as the slide pane on the left We see a blank page with placeholders on it. This dark text up at the top headers, date and time, footer, and number - were going to talk about that in the next video right now were just going to look at these placeholders over in our sidebar we see the message properties for the task we are performing are not available to get rid of this message just select one of the placeholders the handouts tab is made for handouts meaning printed copies of the presentation for the attendees to follow along with, and take notes on. looking at the choices over here we can put one slide per page, two slides per page, n

Print slides with or without speaker notes Click File Print. Under Settings, click the second box (which defaults to say Full Page Slides), then under Print Layout, click Notes Pages. Put in the other settings, such as which slides you want, how many copies, and so on. Click Print.

In PowerPoint, with your presentation open, click File then Print. In the Print window, in the Print What drop down menu, choose a multiple slide handout. If you want to take notes on your printouts, choose 3 slides per page. This will give you lines to the left of each slide for in-class notes.
Print slides with speaker notes On the File menu select Print. Select Show Details at the bottom of the dialog box. In the Layout box, select Notes. Set the other printing options you want, and select Print.
Open your PowerPoint and click on File, then select Print. Under Printer, choose CutePDF Writer (or other PDF creator) in the dropdown menu. Under Settings, choose 3 slides under Handouts. On this same dropdown menu, you may wish to check the box for Frame Slides to add a thin border around your slides.
