heres how I took this beautiful chart from visual capitalist and redesigned it to look like a realistic PowerPoint slide the chart itself is about global rice production and the size of each of these patties represents the total production for each country when youre comparing values against each other usually you want to start with a bar chart next thing I did was I added the title and labels brought back one of the original colors from the chart and added the different flags to make it that much easier to connect the data with the actual country next I added a full sentence title to explain the main takeaway of the chart and also brought in some key facts from the original chart then lastly I made sure the main takeaway was highlighted in the chart Itself by adding this dotted box the final result might not look as pretty as the original version but it is a practical and realistic slide that you could use in any corporate environment
