I Didnt Have Enough Time, or Im Running Out of Time. The I didnt have enough time phrase says you didnt care about your presentation and make enough time to give your 110%. This shows the audience that you rushed your preparation and didnt care about your audience.
If you are presenting your own thoughts, analysis, or interpretation of a topic, it is not necessary to use a quotation. Use your own words to convey your ideas and arguments. The information is not relevant or does not support your argument.
Quotations are a favorite device of public speakers. Often used as attention grabbers, quotations can support or illustrate a speakers ideas. Effective introductory quotations set the tone and framework for the speech.
Citing Orally Pause slightly after the introductory phrase, then read the quote expressively so that the quote sounds like a second voice. Say Quote immediately before you start reading the quote, and then say Endquote immediately after the last words of the quote.
10 Things You Should NEVER Do During A Presentation Dont read off your slides. Dont overfill your slides. Dont show too many slides. Dont torture your audience with horrible slides. Dont lose focus. Dont rush but dont drag either. Dont show off. Dont it.
Avoid quotations that have no relevance to your speech; carefully consider a quotations purpose and its benefits to your presentation. Consider your audience. If you are speaking to people who may not know who Plato is, there is no point in using his name.
You do use a slide deck during your presentation and, in the most basic sense, presentation slides and a deck are nearly the same.
Use a Relevant Quote: Id like to end my presentation with one of my favorite quotes: Ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country.
