hello again this in reply to a recent question about mounting the other sort of cat badge that with the vertical spoon back the this doll was originally developed to mount on a the pug Marie of a pith helmet and for reasons of economy has become more general for other badges its um if were working with a brain of an army-issue beret of course theres a slot thats thats sewn so the thing will just make a little cut in slips right in but on other blood it such as the car keyboard its a little more difficult so what I suggest is that first you place the badge in its intended location and we mark it on the top and the sides with chalk the second step we measure from the top of the badge to the inner surface of the tongue there where it makes that S shape and that is in this case is 7/8 of an inch so I measure 7/8 down from that shark moat that Ive made and I measured the width and this is to 1/8 so one in the sixteenth so there we have a center now admittedly this is already been cut
