Backgrounds are the foundation upon which you lay the visual elements of your presentation slides. Presentation backgrounds can be solid colors, textures and patterns, gradients and even photos with effects and overlays on top.
Right-click the margin of the slide and then select Format Background. Under Fill, choose Picture or texture fill.
