Lets learn how to take a PowerPoint slide and make it available in Microsoft Word. There are a few different ways to do this. The first of these is to simply start in PowerPoint and select a slide thumbnail here on the left side. Ill click on the slide thumbnail and then Ill press Ctrl+C to copy it to my clipboard. Now lets jump over to Word. I can go ahead and just press Ctrl+V on my keyboard to paste in a thumbnail of the slide right inside of PowerPoint. You can work like this just like you would with a real image. Scaling it up and down or moving it around inside the document. Another way to add an entire PowerPoint presentation is to come up here to the Insert tab and click on whats called the Object option. Lets choose to create from file, and then Ill go ahead and browse to a PowerPoint presentation file and press OK. Now the entire PowerPoint presentation is inside the Word doc. Your audience can actually double click the slide to start the PowerPoint presentation right

In PowerPoint, select the slide that you want to add the file to, and then select Insert Object. In the Insert Object box, select Create from file, and then enter the PDF file location; or, click Browse, find the PDF file, and then select OK.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click the arrow next to Object, and then select Object. Click the Create from File tab, and browse to the location of your presentation. Select Link to file or Display as icon, and then click OK.

Select Rich Text Format (. rtf) from the File Format drop-down menu. Save your new . rtf document. Right click on your . rtf document. Open with Microsoft Word.
Share a slide from PowerPoint on Windows Copy the thumbnail picture (right-click and choose Copy). Switch to your email program, such as Outlook. Start a new email message. Click the message pane, and paste the copied slide.
Click File Save Send. Under Save Send, click Send Using E-mail. Click Send as Attachment to attach your presentation to an email message. Click Send a Link to create an email message that contains a link to your presentation.
Present your slides If youre already in a Teams meeting, select Share and then under the PowerPoint Live section, choose the PowerPoint file youre wanting to present. If your presentation is already open in PowerPoint for Windows or Mac, go to the file and select Present in Teams.
Avoid paragraphs, quotations and even complete sentences. Limit your slides to five lines of text and use words and phrases to make your points. The audience will be able to digest and retain key points more easily. Dont use your slides as speakers notes or to simply project an outline of your presentation.
