Im going to put together a melon attachment for the lathe Im going to start by making a mount that will go in place of the compound slide and I have a piece of 3-inch round here so Im gonna take this over to the bandsaw and cut a slice off and bring it back over here and face it next Im gonna drill it and bore it to the size of this knob here I have to turn down just enough so I can see the degree marks were on the outside and next Im going to drill and tap two holes for the set screws all right I made a pair of these little contact dolls that fit in here before the set screws all right and Im going to be using this angle plate so I want to get the holes transferred and get those drilled and tapped all right Im going to reproduce this little stub here and Ive got this piece here with the with a hole threaded in the middle so Im going to turn this down to size and cut this this taper in it all right for the Vice I just drilled in countersunk polls in this block ah all right I
