From the desktop, right-click your PowerPoint file, then select Show from the drop-down menu. Your file will open in Slide Show mode, where you can present it. To leave your presentation, just press Escape to return to the desktop. Watch the video below to see how quickly you can open a file in Slide Show mode.
Click File Save Send. Under Save Send, click Send Using E-mail. Under Send Using E-mail, do one of the following: Click Send as Attachment to attach your presentation to an email message. Click Send a Link to create an email message that contains a link to your presentation.
Start a slide show To start your slide show, on the Slide Show tab, select Play From Beginning. To manage your slide show, go to the controls in the bottom-left corner and do any of the following: To skip to any slide in the presentation, right-click the screen and select Go to Slide.
Insert an embedded object Click in the slide where you want to place the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object. Do one of the following: If the object does not already exist, click Create new.
Start a slide show To start your slide show, on the Slide Show tab, select Play From Beginning. (If youve turned off the Simplified Ribbon, you dont have a Slide Show tab; instead use the View tab to start Slide Show.)
In PowerPoint, select the slide that you want to add the file to, and then select Insert Object. In the Insert Object box, select Create from file, and then enter the PDF file location; or, click Browse, find the PDF file, and then select OK.
Send a picture of the slide In Normal view, in the thumbnail pane on the left, click the slide that you want to share. Copy the thumbnail picture (right-click and choose Copy). Switch to your email program, such as Outlook. Start a new email message. After you address your email message, it is ready to send.
Click File Save Send. Under Save Send, click Send Using E-mail. Click Send as Attachment to attach your presentation to an email message. Click Send a Link to create an email message that contains a link to your presentation.
Some extensions in your browser may interfere with Docs, Slides or Sheets. Try opening your file using an incognito window and log in with your Google account. You can then turn off all extensions in Chrome. Tip: If you are using other browsers, you can also disable extensions on Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
You can open a hyperlink during a slide show by clicking the link. Click Slide Show From Beginning to start your slide show presentation. When you see a hyperlink in the presentation, click the underlined text to open, or follow, the hyperlink. The slide show remains active when the link opens.
