Today we will learn how to sign a PDF document with a certificate-based digital signature in docHub. Download docHub from its original website for free. To sign with a digital signature, obtain a digital ID with name, email, organization, serial number, and expiry. In docHub, digital IDs are used to sign or add digital signatures to documents. Follow steps to add/create a digital ID: edit menu > preferences > signatures > more for identities > digital IDs > add ID. If you have a digital ID from your organization, add the digital ID file. Create a new digital ID by typing name, department, organization, and email address.

To sign a PDF document or form, you can type, draw, or insert an image of your handwritten signature. You can also add text, such as your name, company, title, or date. When you save the document, the signature and text become part of the PDF.
Open the PDF document and select Sign from the top tools bar. Alternatively, from the All tools menu, select Fill Sign. Create your signature and initials if not already done.
Select Annotate PDF from the File menu and select your PDF file to be signed. Click the Image button in the toolbar (it looks like a silhouette of a person) or press Shift+Ctrl+I (that is I for Image). Click on document, and a file browser dialog will open. Select the image of your signature.
To sign a document using docHub Reader, first open the PDF document in the docHub Reader DC application. Click the Fill Sign button in the right pane. Click the Sign button on the toolbar and select Add Signature to add your signature to docHub Reader DC.
To complete and sign PDF forms, open the form in Acrobat, and then select Sign from the global bar. Alternatively, you can select All tools Fill Sign.
Steps to sign a PDF. Open the PDF document or form that you want to sign. Click the Sign icon in the toolbar. Alternatively, you can choose Tools Fill Sign or choose Fill Sign from the right pane.
If you need to change some information, you can edit existing PDF text from your PC in three simple steps. Open the file in a PDF editor like docHub. Click the Edit PDF tool in the upper-right corner. Choose the text you want to edit and start writing.
