Under a limited power of attorney agreement, the agent can only act and make decisions on specified activities, and only to the extent that the principal authorizes.
An ordinary power of attorney allows one or more person, known as your attorney, to make financial decisions on your behalf. Its only valid while you still have the mental capacity to make your own decisions.
