welcome to another video in this video were going to take a look at a actual little known or little known to me sharepoint permission level that became available with the classic ui in sharepoint uh and specifically sharepoint online i have not tested this out with any of the recent sharepoint on-premises versions particularly sharepoint 2016 and 2019 however this does work on sharepoint online i will show you how you can actually block downloading of files again the caveat being this actually only applies when you are running the modern ui in sharepoint so lets actually dive over the screen and take a look at this [Music] alright so over here you can see i have sharepoint environment i am running in the classic ui i also have some permission levels over here so this is the same site the same demo environment you can see it site slash demo here i am just in the document library over here of site slash demo this user im logged in with one of my demo users uh over on this permission
